 Great for vegetarian/raw food dishesAug 30, 2010
Good kitchen gadget for creating unique vegetarian/raw food recipes. I am a big fan of making "squash spaghetti" now. It is also great for fancy and delicate garnishes. My only complaint is that clean-up is a bit of a hassle since it's not dishwasher safe.

This is the worst spiral slicer ever, so bad that I wonder if it didn't work properly. Won't "hold" anything on the points, you turn the crank and whatever you are slicing jams up in the blades! Horrible. I am sending back for a refund. Its not a good price if it doesn't work...

My husband and I really enjoy this product, we are preparing raw spaghettis (zuchini, squash, jicama) with a special sauce and it is delicious, try it. You'll love it,is healthy too. Our daughter bought one before, gave us some of the raw food she prepared, we liked it so much we bought our own, really recommend it for people that are into raw food and want to try something diferent.

We love our raw veggies. Now I can prepare delicious salads that look so creative. The veggies in my garden have never looked or tasted so good.

This spiralizer is so quick and easy to use. I'm amazed how quickly it turns a zucchini into a huge mass of "spaghetti" noodles. I enjoy using the other slicers as well. Cucumbers become fancy waves that makes even the reluctant child think it's a treat. It's easy to clean, too, though you have to be careful around the extremely sharp blades. I hope it lasts. It IS plastic, except for the stainless steel blades. I use it often.
