 Just Awesome! A Must Buy!May 19, 2010
I've had mine for 2 months and use it everyday. It fits perfectly into the bachelor lifestyle because it makes just enough for one person. Get it. You won't regret it.

I had a bullet, loved it, used for everything. After a year the blades began to leak then the motor would turn on as soon as I plugged it in, which was frightening. I've had the Tribeca for only a few months but so works great for coffee, smoothies, and sauces and no problems. Feels more sturdy and higher quality than the bullet over all.

The 5 star reviews alone say a lot about this blender. I bought it a couple months ago. Haven't stopped using it ever since. I make frozen strawberry/milk/oatmeal/apple juice smoothies all the time. So good. I've made pesto, just made hummus for the first time today. The motor is really powerful so my hummus turned out really smooth. This personal blender is definitely worth the price (keep in mind though, I've only owned it for a few months).
Basically, no real issues except maybe the large cups are a bit narrow so it's more difficult to stick your hand in to wash it out. Not a big deal. I usually just screw a top on, put some dish soap in and shake it around.
I was really debating between the Magic Bullet and the Tribest. I don't think there are many differences between the two. The motor base is a bit smaller for the Magic Bullet...I was actually surprised at the size of the Tribest Blender, BUT it does feel more powerful and is quieter. I have used the Magic Bullet in the past, it's a great blender with an awesome recipe booklet and tons of perks for the money. However, there is something about this blender that says "higher quality" plus I didn't need multiple cups and extras.

First of all, let me say, I love this blender! It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use this blender every single day and love the quick cleanup. Despite my lazy-college-student attitude toward the kitchen, I always clean this up right away because it is such a breeze! I love being able to prepare cheap, tasteful, protein-filled concoctions in less than a minute! Plus, it comes with to-go lids so that I can take it to class. It doesn't leak, it blends like a charm, and it is quieter than some of the larger blenders I've used. It is almost shocking how well it does its job. My girlfriends who have seen this in-use are in the process of purchasing one right now. It's so impressive, once you see it in action, you have to have one as well.
Also, a note on serving sizes. I was a bit concerned about the small size (16oz) of the glasses, but I have to say they're perfect for single servings. I used to fix my smoothies in a larger blender and as a result would waste about 1/4-1/2 of a smoothie because I would inappropriately put too much fruit in. This cuts down on the waste and keeps me from eating more than I need to. Also, the small grinder cups (8oz) are perfect for after-dinner milkshakes. I take lowfat icecream and some 2% milk, put it in the cups, blend for 15 seconds and I have myself a perfect low-fat, satisfying desert!
And finally, to those few people complaining it isn't powerful enough -
I worked at a smoothie shop for a year, so I know what blenders are meant to and not meant to do. Blenders ARE NOT meant to crush raw ice. But when you combine ice or frozen fruit with a liquid, a blender should be able to synthesize the mixture. And this blender can and does so beautifully! At our smoothie shop, we had to blend for a minute to get what this personal blender can do in 30 seconds.
Buy one, you will not regret it!

This is a very useful item in your kitchen, at least for me, im really not into washing dishes so this is a plus.
