5Works for me!May 31, 2010
By dragongirl604 "dragongirl604"
I bought this personal blender because I cook a lot of southeast asian food that requires grinding up pastes (sambals & curries), dry spices, peanut sauce, and salad dressings for two people. I even use the 16 oz. cups for chopped shrimp for dumplings and fish for thai fish cakes. This is way more convenient than using my small 3 cup Cuisinart food processor. The small containers are perfect for putting the sauces away without having to get out another glass jar or container.

I also make a lot blended acai & fruit drinks, & mango lassi's with no problem crushing the ice. Putting the fruit first, then the ice at the top and enough liquid may help crush the ice more for some people having trouble.

Love it! Get it! It is the most used kitchen appliance in my kitchen.

So far I've only had it for 3 months. I will update later on longevity.

And as usual, no problems with ordering from Amazon.

5TriBest Personal BlenderAug 15, 2010
By Carolyn J. Osteen "Carolyn"
I love my tribest personal blender! i use it every single day for one thing or another. If you are a raw foodie, you know that sometimes your vita mix is too big for some small amounts of things to be blended; the tribest small container is perfect and the end results can be stored in the container.

i love it for smoothies, for grinding seeds and nuts, for salad dressings, for olive tapenade, and much much more.

and your smoothie travels with you with its own sippie lid!

4Great item but be careful of the rubber O ringsNov 05, 2010
By D. Tran
The device is great. It lets me quickly blend my protein shake easily with miniumum hassle or cleanup. To extend the life of the blades, I used crushed ice (from the refrigerator) instead of using cubes. This will reduce the wear and tear on the blades.

The only issue that I have so far with this device is the rubber O ring along the base of the blades. Mines slip came loose once and the blades cut it. Make sure that it is tight before flipping the blade assembly over your mug. If not, it may be loose and will come off when you start blending. Tribest should include some extra O rings.

The plastic blade assembly and blender unit does seem a little cheap but I use it everyday and haven't had any problems. The item has a low profile and sits nicely in the kitchen corner.

3Nice idea, but there is a cheaper solution...Oct 10, 2010
By A. Winning
This is a nice idea, but there is a much cheaper solution, buy yourself one of these Oster Blenders Oster BLSTMG-W 6-Cup Glass Jar 8-Speed Blender, White and a case of regular mouth mason canning jars, the blade base from the blender will screw on the jar perfectly and you can buy 12 quart jars for about $6 at Menards/Walmart.

2A DisappointmentMar 15, 2012
By TmT
I was so excited about this blender I made the incredibly stupid decision of giving away my magic bullet the day before its arrival.
Tribest was so close to giving us a great product here but failed on account of blender strength and by merely building a plastic mason jar adaptor ring for their former personal blender.

Why is the plastic adaptor a problem?
It catches a substantial amount of food, is a pain to clean and dry period and particularly in between multiple foods intended for blending, and IS PLASTIC (for all of those heavy users or no who are trying to avoid plastics). The plastic in my magic bullet clearly broke down substantially during my use of it and I wanted to avoid using a controversial plastic in a tool I rely heavily on.

The versatility of useable jar sizes with this is the best part of the purchase. And I'd consider this being a more successful buy if this wasn't the weakest personal blender I've had--no matter the jar size I use. There are always huge unblended chunks of whatever it is I blend.

Tribest could have and should have done better. Adapt a blender to a mason jar. Not the other way around.
