Excellent!!!Dec 03, 2006

This is the best juicer we have used and we have tried many. I had developed skin cancer and started using this juicer to juice 2 quarts of carrot and apple juice and 1 quart of leafy green vegetable juice, which I drink 8 oz. glasses of spread throughout the day. The cancer abated. The juicer is fantastic. It is quiet, easy to use and easy to clean. We highly recommend it. Even my children (8 years old and up) can use it safely. We also use it to juice wheatgrass, which almost no other juicer can effectively juice unless it is a wheatgrass juicer only. This machine crushes the food then presses it into a dry pulp squeezing nearly every drop of juice out of almost anything. It's Great! If you need a juicer, this is the one. Nothing else comes close. We only wish it came in a solid stainless steel version.

Very pleased with Green Star JuicerNov 28, 2007
By Terri L. Manning I purchased a less expensive juicer, and after using it a few times, gave it to GoodWill. It was an awful mess to clean, and I never felt like it was really cleaned well. This juicer not only gets every bit of juice out of your produce, it's a breeze to clean it. No sharp blades, no hidden nooks and crannies. It dis-assembles and re-assembles quickly and easily.

not all it cracked up to be.Aug 10, 2008
By Rauphel N. Travis I bought this juicer to juice leafy greens. I had read at least a hundred reviews on various websites and everybody seemed to give this juicer two thumbs up in the juicing leafy greens department. but it was said That it didn't juice fruits very well. I thought ok that's cool. All I want it for is to get the most out of my green. but I came to find out that it doesn't do a very good job at all juicing Collard Greens or Kale. Those are the main 2 I wanted to juice. I don't care what screen you use (fruit or vegetable) or what knob you use on this juicer and how much you tighten or loosen it,(the control knob) it just won't work. You'll get a lot of pulp an unbelievable amount of foam and very little juice. It does a great job with broccoli. It does an ok job with parsley and cilantro. but greens and kale O.M.G (Oh My Gosh)NO! I never tried wheat grass. I found that it does an excellent job on apples, oranges, carrots and celery. But that's not what i bought it for. Anyway I wish someone had told me what I'm telling you all before I paid almost $500.00 for the GS3000. But 2 years after the fact i found "GSEjuicer vs. Angle part 2" on YouTube. The E in GSE stands for Elite and it has the same problem as the old model. go to youtube and type in the above if you want to see for yourself. you have to double click the video window with the explanation of why it won't play.
Update Oct 11 2011. I just checked YouTube and that video (GSEjuicer vs. Angle part 2) isn't there any more. Sorry... I guess it was making Green Star look to bad so they got euJuicers.com to take that "Juice Off" down. they do another one but the GSE is called "The Juicer with the Gray Star" they didn't dare put it up against the Angle juicer again. and it's censored to hell. but if you still want to see it.... the video is called "Greenpower Kempo vs. Juicer with the gray star part 2". The leafy greens part is 5 minutes into the video.

By Jake Love the juicer, works well w/ the Gerson Therapy. It's been a workhouse 40+ days straight. Cleaning is quick. Recommend a 4 cup pyrex glass bowl w/ this besides the one they give you to catch pulp.
Here's some background why to juice.
I have a Netflix account. Saw The Beautiful Truth and later the Gerson Miracle. Had a lump in my throat that was literally choking me when I ate. Bought the book, started juicing. I can swallow most of the time now and hope to be cured in time (been a month or so).
I've been a pretty healthy guy who's been into athletics and health for a long time. In the past 7 years I've developed bad habits. With the combination of the Gerson method and exercise, I feel better now than in a long time. Used to run 3-5 miles a day. Just started again...feeling healthy enough to do so. Blood pressure has dropped w/ out meds also (from 154/114 to 127/68 the other day). Cravings for juice and feeling good are stronger than any drug I've taken in the past. You honestly feel kind of light headed/high on life. Maybe that's the way we are supposed to feel.

Twin Gear failureSep 10, 2012
By R. Eppley I own a Model GL-20001 Green Life Juicer since 2001, puchased new I do not juice that much, i make a pesto sauce maybe twice a year.. I maintain this unit as per instuctions and clean by hand, stored in my kitchen It works very well, however the PLASTIC on the twin gears continue to crack and fracture. The first gear broke out of warranty... Tribest replaced this gear for a cost price and i shipped back the failed part. Got it out a year later and the new gear was crack.... Contacted customer service at Tribest..i explained in detail how i use and maintain.. Representative could only tell me that plastic will crack over time even if stored out of the light.. I am not an engineer however, it is easy to see that when the the plastic is bored out to fit the shaft it is undersized to form a press fit on the steel shaft..So when it is pressed on the plastic has to expand..the plastic gear has constant outward pressure so the crack comes from the area where the plastic is thin... For a $500 juicer that is used very little, this is unexceptable, you would think the manufacture would except responsiblity for this.... I have 30+ years in the Heavy equipment repair industry and i can tell you that this problem can be fixed, they just choose to ignore because where else can you go for parts... I asked the customer service rep to transfer me to an engineer and 4 days ago i left a detailed voice message, think they will call me back...? Customer service should be foremost....
