I know that is quite a claim but over the years I've bought so many gadgets and things that ended up gathering dust or being disappointing it really is true. This is the second coolest thing I own now, after my reliable and comfy car, lol. My honey and I ordered this to aid us on our journey into ultimate health and well-being, and while it was a splurge price-wise for us right now I do not regret it one iota! It shipped immediately even with the super saver free shipping option, arrived within 3 business days somehow, and right out of the box it was a dream come true; easy as could be to set up, powerful, much more quiet than I expected, very easy to clean (although when we juiced carrot that took a few minutes to clean off the strainer inside but the toothbrush for cleaning the include did the trick!) and produced loads of juice and piles of bone dry pulp. We juiced everything in sight within the first 30 minutes of having it assembled; romaine, kale, parsley, apples, celery, grapes, we went to town and it juiced them all like a pro. I know some folks prefer other types of juicers for the speed factor, but I didn't find this to be painfully slow at all, and I will trade the lack of a hot appliance and motor for juice that maintains the integrity of the enzymes and aminos any day. I also think that something like this isn't meant to be a fast food experience; yes you have to cut things to size and it's not instantaneous, but we were both impressed with the speed and output. I honestly believe that whether you are an aspiring raw foodist like we are or just wanting to add something healthy to your life this is one of the best purchases you can make. I could not BE more thrilled with this! (note - they also include a full sized color users guide with ultra clear instructions in case you need a little guidance, and some great ideas for juices, jams, butters, etc)

All the good things from the other reviews are correct. Versatile, long warranty, easy to clean, etc. But there is a catch. I purchased only for wheatgrass which I juice daily for health reasons. The manual says to feed very small quantities at a time, less than with other juicers, OR SEVERAL OF THE PLASTIC BITS won't take the strain. So you can either constantly watch how you feed the hopper or pay the price. I am on my third juice strainer (an internal non-optional part) because the other two shattered. Not a pretty sight. Keep this in mind

Purchased this juicer for $229 here on Amazon June 2010, after researching thoroughly and considering other units of all prices. My budget was low 200's so this fit the bill. My number 1 use is to juice it for wheat-grass and occupationally other stuff, since this is a 6 in one. it does do lots of other stuff! I've made peanut butter fresh fresh and that's fantastic tasting!
Quality:
Out of the box the design is simple and well made the parts are super easy to put together and you can figure it out even without the directions, which by the way our clear concise and very well put together. I enjoyed reading the structures since each and every page had diagrams and photos and examples of the many things you can do with your juicer.
I don't think you'll be disappointed with this juicer whatsoever. You can't beat the 10 year warranty, which is five years on the parts. It seems well-made, and so far. I'm glad I purchased it. I will update this one year, two years in maybe five years from now. Just in case you're still looking to purchase this juicer.

This Samson GB-9001 in Black - Wheatgrass Fruit and Vegetable Juicer is everything and more I could want in a juicer. After a long line of centrifugal style juicers which work great for the first week and then quickly deteriorate into a massive waste of produce, I decided to buy a masticating juicer. This juicer is super easy to clean and makes quick work of anything you throw at it! It chews through hard veggies as well as leafy greens with ease. pay attention to the number setting on the front of the machine and your only limited by your imagination.

Bought this for wheatgrass juicing, but I am really impressed with the fact that I can make other stuff with it. Several pasta attachments!!
The one negative review on this product vaguely talks about it taking too long, which is not my experience. Maybe they want something more like a blender. I don't know. Anyway, its a hard-core juice extractor, so you wouldn't expect it to process the food at warp speed! It works about as fast as the wheatgrass juicer they use at Jamba Juice from what I can tell. It's also easy to clean.
Love love love it!
