Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2SI2QDNNMISQB My video review showing that the tamper is actually too long for the ACME 6001 juicer.

plungerOct 12, 2011
By dchipper The Acme plunger was sent to me with full knowlege that it had only a 50% chance of being the right length for my juicer. It was not the right length. So I'm supposed to pay your postage and wait for you to maybe fix this problem? I don't think so. Your rating is 0 stars. You knew fully well that the plunger for my juicer may no longer be manufactured.
Acme 6100 JuicerFeb 09, 2012
By Stephen Davies So here is the skinny. Check the model number under the juicer. if it is 6W, that means it was made AFTER the Waring company purchased the Acme juicer, around 1987. These juicers could use the 4" plunger (the one pictured) if your juicer DOESN'T have a model # with a W, then you may have an older model (pre 1987) that uses the 3.5" plunger, which unfortunately doesn't seem to available....hope that helps!!

Stock replacement for tamper that cracked due to brittle mat'l. Works as advertised. Needs to be a slightly more robust plastic formulation.
