Good Juicer.Dec 14, 2009

It's a good juicer. It's heavy, but it's cast iron so it's expected. I use it in my dorm for wheatgrass that I grow and it's great. Just make sure you wash it immediately, you wouldn't want it to get rusty, right?
All the parts work well. It even has an attachable rubber "foot" so you don't scratch things or maybe it's for better grip. I'm a 19 year old girl and I can crank it just fine.
It's not beautiful but it gets the job done. :)
I'm going to try apples and celery and other fruits and veggies sometime.

HEALTH HAZARDJun 08, 2011
By 00000000 i opened the wheatgrass juicer box and silver paint chips began falling off the cast iron juicer. The box had a strong smell of paint. I contacted the seller, was told that, I had to pay a restocking fee and the cost of shipping it back to them. The fees were close to what I paid for juicer originally.

Thumbs DownFeb 02, 2010
By Kathy I bought this juicer due to the price. Well, that goes to show that you get what you pay for. I found that the juicer must be completely dis-assembled after every use and all parts washed and dried immediately or they will RUST. If you have plenty of time on your hands and don't mind getting the wire brush out to scrub rust then this is the juicer for you!

a juicer for the peopleMar 26, 2010
By J.Saint I wanted a wheat grass juicer/ masticating grinder, made of metal.I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. Here it is, and i received it quickly.I'm happy with the product and price. Be advised it is cast iron[tin plated?] so it's about 5 pounds; but should last a few lifetimes. Also, you will need to find an edge to clamp it to. Sprout and grow your own wheat grass ! It is very very easy to do and you should be able to find whole wheat berries for less than $1 a pound. Be good, jason

NOT what I expectedFeb 07, 2011

the juicer is very heavy. keep this in mind for if you want to return it, it will cost you. it is painted with a metallic paint that was chipping off the grinder part of mine (surely this is toxic, totally defeating the purpose of wheatgrass for DETOXIFYiNG?) The part where the liquid comes out is not even high enough off the counter for a shot glass, you must put a small bowl underneath to catch juice. You have to disassemble the whole thing, many parts (and again it is heavy and clumbsy) and wash which will take a long time, it will RUST quickly whether you do this or not. again..TOXIC. I have read when you buy a juicer you cannot go the cheap route...I found this out the hard way. take my advice and don't get this one.
