Really a miracle! ... but a few caveatsSep 24, 2010

I love the Miracle Exclusives 1 Qt. Yogurt Maker so much that I bought a second one so I could make two batches of yogurt at once.
It is very simple, but you don't actually plop in a quart of milk and it magically turns into yogurt. You have to pour your milk into a mixing bowl and whisk in some starter, which can be store-bought or your own yogurt. I also whisk in some powdered milk to make the yogurt thicker and higher in protein. After doing this, the volume has increased somewhat.
If you are a serious yogurt eater, I can't imagine the expense of buying your milk one quart at a time, so really, you want a container to fit the yogurt maker that closely matches the size of a one-quart milk carton. This was a challenge at first, but I found two drink bottles made by RubberMaid that fit (both circumference and height are factors).
Other than that, I found the instructions to be fairly complete, and the process to be easy. I highly recommend this yogurt maker.
