It is designed for safety, durability and longevity. More effective than ordinary exercise, the Cellerciser® does not lift weight away from gravity; it increases the weight of gravity on every cell of your body over 100 times a minute. Hence a 10 minute Cellerciser® workout begins to tone and shape your entire body from the inside out while revitalizing all your cells and internal organs! David Hall's Center for Cellular Health has always been at the forefront of innovative design and performance of mini-trampolines. David first introduced the barrel spring design in 1993. His latest TRIPLE-TIERED TAPERED spring design has proven to be more effective than Stainless Steel. The springs special formulation and anodized features makes allows users to experience superior bounce quality irrespective of their weight. The spring adjusts to the user's weight and jump style. For example, typical barrel springs can be too hard for someone light and too soft for someone a little heavier. By tapering and tiering the spring, a 100 pound person will use most of the first tapered tiered section of the spring and have a great bounce, a 200 pound person will utilize more of the second and third tier of the spring, and the three hundred pound person will use more of the third tapered tier. That means you get the best bounce available irrespective of your weight. The Celleciser is rated for users up to 300 pounds. a good workoutApr 10, 2010
By Lisa I did a lot of research before I bought this item. I am 44 years old, and I homeschool my 5 and 7 year old kids. I have been a regular exerciser since age 18. I used to jog a lot before I developed sciatica problems and had to stop. For a number of years now, I have been doing yoga and using an elliptical machine at the gym, but recent schedule changes have made it increasingly difficult for me to get to the gym. I was looking for an affordable way to work out at home, but I knew that I would need to feel that I was getting a good work out to stay motivated. My main concern before purchasing this was that rebounding would not be challenging enough. Most of the information on the web about rebounding sounded like snake oil, so I was suspicious.
I got the cellerciser last week. I was anticipating that it would be difficult to assmeble, and told my kids they would have to occupy themselves for awhile so that I could put it together. In fact, there was NO assembly required. It came out of the box, and all it needed were for the legs and the unit to be unfolded. In less than a minute, I was jumping. It breaks down just as easily. I am leaving it set up most of the time, but if I needed to put it away, the legs fold up, the unit folds in half, and under the couch it goes in about a minute. I do carry it from one room into another so that I can rebound in front of the TV. It's a bit awkward, but not bad enough at all to be a deterrent to using it.
I have used it every day since I got it over a week ago. This in spite of the kids, the homeschooling, the part-time work, and the part-time PhD program. And a husband who works outside the home 12 hours a day. This truly is something I can do while the kids play or do schoolwork nearby. I can get up a little early in the morning and do it, and not have to worry about getting home from the gym before my husband has to leave for work. It is easy and convenient enough that I could do it for a little while in the morning, and then again at some later point in the day. Even if it is less efficient than the elliptical (and I am not sure it is less efficient), an exercise that you do every day has got to be better than one you do once or twice a week.
In fact, I have found that it can be a very tough workout. I purchased an Urban Rebounding dvd when I ordered the Cellerciser, and I am glad I did. Simply jumping freestyle is not a very intense workout. Moreover, before I received the dvd, I was jumping, and jarred something in my upper spine which was sore for a day or two. The form suggested on the Urban Rebounding dvd has made it possible for me jump without additional injury or pain. Also, the exercises on the dvd are really tough. I am in reasonable shape, not overweight, and pretty active, but I really sweat, and my heart is pounding even on the basic workout. I am looking forward to doing hiit with the rebounder, and the workouts can definitely be intense enough for that. The basic workout is definitely much more intense than doing a slow jog, for example.
I have never been on another rebounder, so I have no basis for comparison to other units. The cellerciser seems very sturdy. I didn't at first think that I cared about getting a folding unit, but it does make it easier to store it out of the way, and it is nice to know that I could throw it in the trunk of the car when we go on a family vacation.
As other reviewers of similar products have pointed out, it is a plus that the kids can jump too. They enjoy it, and I imagine it will be especially appreciated during the winter when it is harder to get outside.
I haven't lost any weight, gotten rid of my cellulite, experienced any miraculous cures to diseases, or gotten rid of wrinkles in the week since I've had it, and perhaps none of that will ever happen. But I do think I have found a way to have a really great, safe cardio workout that I can do every day right from home. I only wish I had found my way to these years ago. This would have been great when the kids were babies!
UPDATE: I have had the rebounder for about six weeks and have lost 5 lbs. My body has also changed shape in a good way. My butt is totally toned now! My jeans are literally falling off me. The rebounder is definitely a great workout, although I would again emphasize that for me, the urban rebounder dvds have made the difference. I am certain that doing a tough workout on the rebounder is a better fat burner than 20 minutes on the elliptical at the gym. A lot of reviewers of rebounders talk about how much fun they are. When I am really working on this thing, it isn't fun. It's a tough workout, and I can't wait until it's over. But the results are very motivating!

Cellerciser is great.Jul 22, 2010
By Timothy P. Dost This unit was easy to unpack, easy to assemble, and is very strong. I weigh 250+ lbs. and have no problems using it. The only noise it makes is a normal creaking of springs when I bounce. The exercise feels good and helps in my case to relieve irregularity as well. I would recommend that for the first couple of sessions you only bounce for about a minute, gradually working up to longer sessions. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to have a change in breathing on my exercise bike, on the cellerciser this occurs after about 2 minutes. I'm up to 4 minutes now, at a time.
A further advantage of this unit is that it is easy just to jump on it for a minute or two, then do other things and come back to it for short bursts of exercise. This tends to keep my metabolism up for more of the day.

Best piece of exercise equipment I have ever purchasedSep 26, 2010
By Kallista I have a chronic health condition and throughout the years I have tried a lot from Yoga over Pilates to the Total Gym and just walking to build muscles and stamina. This is the first time I have stuck with something besides walking, which I also still do too. I could not afford to lose any weight, let alone antagonize my joints, so I was a bit worried about how I would tolerate rebounding. I started out slowly, but within 2 weeks I was able to do 10 minutes. Now after 7 weeks I do 20 min every day. I could easily do 30, but there is really no need. It`s so much fun I have to make myself stop. I have increased my calorie intake and actually gained five pounds in muscles. I`m stronger and leaner now, my legs are more toned. I could not be more pleased about the quick results. Why anyone would waste time on anything else is a mystery to me.

AMAZINGNov 19, 2010
By mom2d About 2 months ago I bought a cheap rebounder without really doing any research. It was a struggle to bounce on it. I realized rebounding is supposed to be fun not a chore. After researching the internet I decided to get a Cellerciser and I couldn't be happier. My toddler likes to "bounce" too and he seems to like the Cellerciser much better than the cheap rock hard rebounder I purchased 2 months ago. Now I will get my husband on board w/ bouncing too. Good luck.

Last piece of equipmentNov 09, 2010
By Fernando You won't need to use any other piece of equipment after trying the cellerciser. Give it a try! After more than 26 years, I finally found the tool to make my daily 30 minutes a day workout routine.
I love it!
