5Great alternative to a water coolerJan 21, 2012
By Raymond M. Keil "R.Mark"
I love this little device. We now place our five gallon bottles of water in a cabinet (out of sight) and let this little pump move the water to where we want it. We ran a split water line from the pump to the refrig and one to the Kuerig coffee maker, so now we have the best tasting water in both places. The pump automatically kicks on when we get chilled water from the frig, the frig makes ice or the coffee maker is brewing. No manual intervention required. It's really a cool little pump.

Pros: Easy to setup and install
Con: It's a little noisier than I wish. Even in a cabinet, you can hear it when it runs. It's not an unacceptable noise though, just a humming sound.

5Easy and Flawless...so far.Apr 15, 2012

Exceptionally easy to install..no leaks..hooked it up to a new fridge and it works as stated. (Note: this model came w/ everything needed to hookup a refrigerator water line.) There is a little pump noise for 5 seconds or so when filling the ice maker/water dispenser. Not a big deal, really. Very happy not to be buying ice anymore. If you're on a well like me, this is an easy, painless way to get good water from your fridge/ice maker. I just hope it last a while.

5Finally!Apr 01, 2012

I have well water which makes for terrible ice cubes. I ordered this after I got tired of buying ice. I had some concerns not answered in the remarks but I am very happy with this purchase.

A five gallon water bottle is only half empty after two weeks on the ice maker.
It did fit under the counter with bottle attached.
Under the cabinet, it is a bit noisy but only slighly more than a refrigerator ice maker (I did sit it on a towel).
I have a newer refrigerator and needed no extra parts.

We were paying 2.65 for a bag of ice 2 times a week. This will pay for itself and eliminate trips to the store.

5Excellent !Feb 03, 2012

Product as advertised, easy to install. Just take into account that the supplied tubing does not connect right away to the fridge tubing. You will need to get a ferrule into one end of the supplied hose in order to tighten it into the fridge provided tubing. Excellent !
