Description:

Combo Bottled Water Dispensing System Model COM1000 The COMBO Model COM1000 Bottled Water Dispensing System is designed to pump water from commercially available 5 gallon water bottles. The system will deliver water under pressure to an individual drinking water faucet, the water inlet of a refrigerator to the icemaker and chilled drinking water tap, and to certain commercial coffee makers / tea brewers. It can also be used to supply water to certain Jupiter Water Ionizers. The heart of the system is the pump module that automatically adjusts the flow and pressure to fill an appliance or faucet and stops automatically. A single COMBO water dispenser can supply water to more than one appliance with an optional adapter (not included). The suction wand, when inserted into the 5-gallon water bottle, it will activate the float switch on the end of the wand and turn on the pump. This same float switch shuts off the system when the bottle is empty. The wand has a built in back-flow preventer valve that prevents water from flowing back into the bottle or spilling while changing bottles.

Features:

Suction wand and hose assembly

Float switch for automatic shut-off when bottle is empty

Built-in check valve to prevent back flow

6' cord AC power cord, 20 Ft. of' ΒΌ" discharge tube (TUBE SPLITTER not included)

5Great ProductJul 16, 2010

This water system saved the day. We have an awesome Samsung Refrigerator with the water/ice in door and an extra icecube maker in bottom freezer. We live in the country and have a well. The plumbing in the house did not include any water pipes to the fridge area. We installed system in cabinet next to fridge - made one hole in side for hose and electric cord. So this water dispensing system was the perfect ticket - simple to install and ez to change bottles and wa la - ready to use cold water/ice !!

5Excellent pump system, works like a charm!May 02, 2012
By Scott Turner "EngineerBoy"
We recently bought a new refrigerator and moved the old one out to our detached converted garage/office that has no plumbing. However, we wanted to be able to have chilled water and ice made and dispensed. Rather than pay to run plumbing out to the office, we looked for a method that would somehow pump water out of a standard 'water cooler' type bottle.

And this pump does the trick perfectly. As shown in the picture, the system has an insert that goes down into the bottle, has a collar that squeezes down over the neck of the bottle forming an airtight seal, and then has an on-demand pumping system that detects when the downstream system is 'open' and asking for water, and kicks on the electric pump to provide pressurized water.

I was able to get it assembled and working in about 5 minutes, without referring to the instructions and without ever having worked with a product like this before. Part of that is because I'm semi-handy, but the larger part is because the system is very straightforward.

So, now we have cold water and auxilliary ice out in our office, with the only caveat being that we have to replenish the water jug once a month, or so. A small price to pay for the convenience and to avoid the expense of plumbing. Highly recommended.
