ionized water is good for youMay 09, 2011

We live on well water, and the PH of our water is below 6.4 We had to add the remineralization filter, and now our water coming from the Jupiter unit is 9.0 ! We drink it daily & plenty of it. Every time I had a question & emailed Jupiter, they responded back within an hour, great support! You have to follow the directions & watch out for the direction of water flow so you get the hoses connected correctly, but other than that it was simple. I just screwed the adapter in to our existing kitchen faucet & now I can have tap water for dish washing, and ionized water to drink. I don't really like the thumb screw on the adapter, yo can't really tell which way the water is going til you turn on the water. Good unit, it does what is says it is supposed to do, brings the PH of the water up to 9.0. I got 2 glass travel containers for my wife to carry water to work with her. We use it for our coffee every morning & I drink 3-4 glasses of it every day. I do miss my ice cubes, but you get used to it. You have 4 levels of alkaline water to choose from & acidic also. We just use the hose from the acidic output & save the water in a 2 quart container. We use that water to wash vegetables, clean coffee mugs, etc, soak dirty pots...
the reviews said it was lacking in technology, but I'm not sure what I am missing. I have ionized water at whatever level I want. If you want to pay twice as much for a different brand, go ahead, I am happy with our Jupiter unit. Our daughter got the sister unit, the Orion, we like the colors of the Aquarius.
