BEAUTIFUL FILTERJul 29, 2010

I owned the Aquasana countertop water filter which worked fine but...Every time you wanted water you had to run the faucet and pull out the little diverter valve to switch the flow to go through the filter. Then you loose space with the filter canister having to place this on the counter next to everything. Also with the diverter valve attached you are loosing space underneath the running water along with every time you need to wash something very large you have the hoses running from the tap that ALWAYS seem to get in the way! I was intrigued by this because this uses the same filter and takes away all hoses and valves that seem to get in the way. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable to fix things around the house and after viewing the installation instructions and looking underneath my sink I thought that this would be relatively easy to install. I used an existing hole next to the faucet that was used for the spray nozzle. Start to finish it took about 30 minutes. Most of this time was cleaning out underneath to gain access but anyone with a know how with tools can do this themselves. I have to say I am VERY PLEASED with the results. No more hoses or filter canister. The chrome finish matches my faucet to a tee. Also you have the ability to move the filter faucet over to either side when not in use! Great product! WORTH THE PRICE!

This is a very well made filter faucet,and works better than the original one that came with the filter kit.
