$22 for 10 pieces of plastic that melted the first time I used them
I used them in the dehydrator they are made for. It was on high(153 degrees). Maybe you are not supposed to put it on high? Can anyone recommend a better leather drying product for the L'Equipe?
Other than this the L'Equipe has worked perfectly for me. But if they don't have a better leather sheet than this thing will be replaced with a different dehydrator.

I tried making fruit leathers (blackberry and apple) with these trays. The leathers stuck so badly they came off in tiny pieces instead of sheets. One tray cracked while I was trying to remove the dried leather. I only had 2 leather trays (which came with my dehydrator); the rest of the batch I did on microwave safe plastic wrap. The ones on plastic wrap dried considerably faster and didn't stick. So don't bother with the leather trays- just use plastic wrap.

These worked awesome for me!! But I am only on my second season using them and they are all brittle and cracked up. I was very careful with them too. I wish I could find a sturdier replacement.

L'Equip Dehydrator Fruit Leather Trays; I have used this product in the past to make broth strips, fruit strips, and vicariousness sauce strips(like spaghetti). I get the most amusing reactions when I am out hiking in desolation wilderness when I make something like spaghetti or Pizza out camping 20 miles from nowhere. I wait till after the meal to explain that i did not back in liquid products. You will have to use the lower setting s depending on your dehydrator, the trays are prone to melt with the higher ones used to dehydrate meat quickly.
