The AQ series water ionizers offer a built-in calcium port for stronger ionization capabilities. This feature allows for a higher pH, negative ORP (oxidation reduction potential) and stronger acid water. AQ Series electrodes chamber is comprised of Platinum coated Titanium electrodes with a patented matting, which enhances ionization efficiency by resisting to mineral deposits. The Electrode Plates are iridium-free. Fully adjustable power to electrodes, 152 power settings. The electrode chamber is specially designed to drain off all excess water in the electrolysis chamber between uses. This provides the electrodes with longevity built to last at least 15 - 20 years. The titanium is coated with platinum for excellent, yet durable, conductivity. The combination of efficient draining, improved matting, and revised inner structure enable AQ Series to operate over for 100 hours continuously. AQ Water Ionizers are smaller which helps to take up less space and provides easier portability. Automatic cleaning alert every 12 hours the LED light blinks. The AQ Series comes with and installed one micron flow-through sediment fiber carbon filter which removes chlorine, particulate and other harmful elements from tap water. Optionally a .01 Micron Biostone Filter is available. There is an Automatic Indicator Alert when Filter Requires Replacement . Comes with everything you need to install the machine. I found the AQ 700 water ionizer. it's specs was just as good if not better in some areas than the enagic SD501 model for over $4000.00!!unfortunately it was out of stock, so I opted for the AQ 500. it was just a slight down grade but it still has all the feature that I really needed in a water Ionizer. I started drinking the 10.0 ph water and soon had to go down to the 8.5 ph. I was feeling flu like symptoms and headaches. since then I have been feeling better drinking the water.This product does everything it advertises. you will find many pro's and cons over the internet about water ionizer,which is the best,it's a scam, etc. For the price of these items one should do research before purchase. check out you tube for information on every water ionizer you may think of purchasing. For me after all was said and done for the money and vaule this was the best water ionizer that I was willing to PAY!!! for. So far my wife and I are very pleased with this AQ 500. If nothing else I know we have a good drinking water filter machine.The only con I found with this item is that the manual does not really show how to operate the water ionizer. good luck on whatever you decide to purchase.
